MISSION LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
On Friday we had Mission Leadership Council. We have seven zones that attend in person and 4 that attend by skype because they are so far away (up to a 13 hour bus ride, each way). Those of us attending in person climbed Ancon Hill before the meeting. The other zones also found a hill to climb (except for San Blas, where there weren't any hills to climb). Ancon Hill is where Panama was dedicated for the preaching of the Gospel by Howard W. Hunter in 1991. You can see Panama City, the Panama Canal and even the temple from the top. Since we are starting a new year, we wanted to climb Ancon Hill and see if we can could rededicate ourselves to preaching the Gospel in Panama. We then had a great meeting where we discussed ways for dealing with two of our biggest obstacles -- getting investigators to attend church and getting investigators married. It was a great way to kick off the new year. Here's to a great year in 2015 for Mision Panama!
