SORRY, NOT MANY PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES THIS WEEK
But here are some from a district meeting we attended this week and two from Stake Conference today.

COMING ATTRACTION -- MEMBER MISSIONARY WORK
November is a tough month to do missionary work in Panama because of all the Fiestas Patrias celebrations. A lot of people travel and go to a lot of parades, etc. We decided that we need the members to help us, by talking to their friends and neighbors, while they're enjoying the festivities. We devised a 3 sentence way for them to share the Gospel. We had these cards printed and are getting 50 out to each companionship. Missionaries, if you don't have yours yet, contact your zone leaders. The missionaries can share these cards with the members and hopefully we'll get a lot more referrals this November!

We only had them printed in Spanish, but here is the English translation.

I bundled up the 5,000 into packs of 50.

FREETOWN GOAL
We were really close to our goal to watch the Freetown movie, and we still have 3 more weeks to get the job done! Keep up the good work. Remember it will be on November 9.

CAMBIOS/TRANSFERS
We got five elders from the Provo MTC this week and we are very happy to have them serving here. We have not gotten any hermanas or any missionaries from the Guatemala MTC in the past several transfers.

A photo with all the trainers but one (who was far away).

Orientation and meeting the trainers at the mission home.

We said goodbye to seven great missionaries this week. We are so grateful for their sacrifice and service here in the mission. The hermana going home is from Panama, so she had the quickest trip home -- she just took the subway with some of her family members!

Last supper at the mission home with baked ziti, garlic bread, caesar salad, pears and chocolate chip cookie sandwiches for dessert.
