INVITATION TO FAMILIES OF OUR MISSIONARIES
We have invited every missionary in the Panama Mission to read the Book of Mormon (backwards) by our next zone conferences in March. How does that work, you ask? Well, you read it backwards by book. You start with Moroni 1 and read the entire book of Moroni. Then go to Ether 1 and read the entire Book of Ether, etc. It gives you a totally different perspective on the Book of Mormon. We wanted to invite the families of our missionaries to join us in this effort and discuss through weekly emails with your missionaries what you are learning. We will also be inviting the missionaries to be fasting for the same thing each Fast Sunday and will be letting the families know ahead of time what that will be, so that they can join with us fasting each month if they wish to. We feel like these are both great ways to get parent's more involved with the missionary work here in Panama and to be united with their missionary son or daughter.
INVITACIÓN A LAS FAMILIAS DE NUESTROS MISIONEROS
Hemos invitado a todos los misioneros en la misión Panamá a que lean El Libro de Mormón al revés antes de la próxima conferencia de zona en marzo. Quizás se pregunten, ¿esto cómo se hace? Bueno, hay que leerlo al revés libro por libro. Se comienza con capítulo 1 de Moroni y se lee todo el libro de Moroni. Luego de Éter capítulo 1 hasta el final del mismo, y así en adelante. A uno le da una perspectiva nueva del Libro de Mormóm. Quisiéramos invitarles a las familias de nuestros misioneros a que hagan lo mismo y que lo discutan con sus misioneros a través de sus correos electrónicos semanales lo que están aprendiendo. También les vamos a invitar a los misioneros a que se ayunen con uno y el mismo propósito en cada domingo de ayuno y vamos a informarles a Uds. con anticipación del tema para que Uds. tambié puedan participar con nosotros si desean hacerlo. Esperamos que éstas sean buenas maneras de involucrarse más con la obra misional en Panamá en unión con su misionero/a.
