MISSION TOUR WITH ELDER AND SISTER OCHOA
We had a great mission tour this past Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Elder and Hermana Ochoa. They were wonderful and gave inspired counsel on how to make our mission better.

Answer: 38 -- this isn't even all the boxes!

TOUR OF THE PANAMA TEMPLE GROUNDS

While doing a tour of the Panama Temple grounds with several investigators, we ran into a district of missionaries attending the temple. Temple tours are a fantastic missionary tool -- it is so easy to feel the spirit at the temple!

Our two newest arrivals. This is the fourth time in four weeks we have received new missionaries that were not part of our regular transfer schedule. The Panama mission is growing!

There is an annex across from the Panama Temple, called the Casa de Huespedes (guest house). People who are attending the temple from all over the country can stay there during the week for a small fee. They have a cafeteria there and this is a chicken tamale wrapped in a banana leaf. It cost $1.50.

I make snickerdoodles for zone conferences. Next week we are having zone conferences as part of a mission tour with Elder Ochoa. On Thursday I made 300+ cookies and froze them. It uses a lot of ingredients to make 300 cookies!

This photo is going to be on the cover of the cookbook I am going to write after the mission. It is called, "How to Feed 250 Hungry Teenagers on a Budget." Right now I have 25 pounds of pork cooking in 3 different slow cookers for pulled pork sandwiches. Also for the mission tour next week. Good thing I like to cook!
