El presidente spent Saturday and Sunday in San Blas for district conference (church unit not missionary unit). They acted out some scenes from the Book of Mormon, including Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life. Several videos of musical numbers in Cuna follow the photos.

ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
El presidente's mom died from ALS when she was 62 years old. One of his former missionaries challenged him, so he was happy to oblige with the ice bucket challenge and a donation. We went up on the roof of the mission office and his four secretaries had great fun dumping ice water on his head. Because of the heat here, the ice had already melted, but be assured that the water was plenty cold.
TRANSFER WEEK/CAMBIOS
We got three different batches of new missionaries this week. Five from the Mexico MTC on Monday, ten from the Guatemala MTC on Tuesday morning and 14 from the Provo MTC on Tuesday night (plus an elder back in the mission who went home for some medical care). We had 14 awesome missionaries that finished their missions and headed home on Thursday morning. Thank you so much for your service in the Panama Mission and best of luck to you back home.
