FASTING PURPOSE FOR JUNE/PROPOSITO DE NUESTRO AYUNO EN JUNIO

Our focus in the mission for June is the Atonement and repentance. This Sunday, our mission will be fasting for an increased understanding of the atonement and an increased desire to repent (both among the missionaries and the investigators). We would love to have the families of our missionaries join in our fast, if they are able to.

Nuestro enfoque en la misión en junio es la expiación y el arrepentimiento. Este domingo la misión ayunará buscando mayor entendimiento de la expiación y un aumento en el deseo de arrepentirnos (tanto entre los misioneros como los investigadores). Estaríamos encantados con que las familias de nuestros misioneros participaran con nosotros en este ayuno si pueden.

NEW NURSES/NUEVOS ENFERMEROS

We have a new senior couple in the mission that are both nurses. Elder and Hermana Massaro are from St. George, Utah. They have served one medical mission already -- in Malaga, Spain. We are so grateful to have them in our mission here in Panama! Welcome Masarro's! Thank you for serving!

I made an offer at Mission Leadership Council a few months ago, but I wasn't sure if all the missionaries knew about it. The first time we hit 160 baptisms in a single month, I will make big, gooey, yummy cinnamon rolls for the whole mission. You can do it guys! There are five Saturdays in May, so this is our best chance for a while. Here's a photo of some I made if you need a little extra motivation.

Yo les hice una propuesta en el consejo de misión unos meses atrás, pero no estaba segura de que todos los misioneros se enteraron. La primera vez que logramos los 160 bautismos en un mes, les prepararé mis dulces de canela especiales para toda la misión. ¡Lo pueden alcanzar! En mayo hay cinco días sábado, así que tenemos buenas posibilidades. Abajo vean una foto de mis panes dulces si quieren ser motivados.
